The TWJS system is a water jet process that uses high pressure water (600/800 bars), in order to disegregate the rubber in the tires of Trucks and OTR. The result is separation between the steel and the rubber inside of the tire. No fibers in this process.
The production of HP Water, needed to operate the plant, occurs using a specific High Pressure power station. Currently, to obtain this type of rubber output, the only way is to rasper the truck tires, with much higher costs and low quantity output.
During this process, the water (at high pressure), when applied, brakes down also a part of the sulfur molecule. This separation means that the rubber powder output is also partially devulcanized. The rubber obtained would be more valuable to the tire production market.
The whole process is designed as a «closed loop» to fully protect the environment.
